Handmade wooden ring with metal wire insert
This unisex ring is made on a lathe with precious solid wood and the insertion of a metal wire, to be chosen between brass and copper. It is customized according to your preferences.
Elegant and refined, this wooden ring has a rounded shape and bevel on the edges, which allows it to be worn comfortably on the finger. Men, generally less accustomed to wearing jewelry, will also find it comfortable.

This wooden ring is suitable as an engagement ring or as a wedding ring: a personalized and virtually unique ring, like love, embellished with the luster of the metal.
Natural wood finishing: eco-sustainability of the ring
All of my rings are handmade with protected with natural shellac and pad-polished, according to an ancient technique used in the past for the production of fine furniture.
Depending on the desired choice, after polishing, the ring is then opaque or satin.
Before finishing, the wood underwent a protective impregnated treatment, also handcrafted in the laboratory.
The ring is water resistant. Avoid contact with alcohol or solvents in general which could dissolve the finishing layer or damage it.
Sizes
The sizes normally available range from 16 to 21 mm: please note that these measurements do not correspond to the jewelerly sizes, but indicate the internal diameter of the ring.
On request and without any surcharge, I also make oversized sizes, just choose the custom size when ordering and indicate the value in the appropriate field.

Is a wooden ring strong ?
Wood, for obvious reasons, does not have the strength of metal. Some essences are more resistant than others. To meet a need for strength and resistance, it is possible to apply a consolidating treatment to the wood by means of dissolved acrylic resin, applied in the vacuum chamber.
This treatment greatly increases the strength of the ring.
