the widest selection of woods for your ring !
Artamin handcrafts wooden rings, carefully selecting the best materials to ensure a beautiful and quality product.
The choice of wood is a very important aspect in the realization of a ring, because it is a heterogeneous material: knowing how to read its grain and understand the composition of the fiber will determine the good final result.
You can learn more by reading this interesting page on the main properties of wood or the article I wrote on my blog.
Each ring is made entirely by hand, from the first roughing phase on the lathe, passing through the polishing, up to the final finishing phase: handcrafted rings, handmade, and with the heart.

The finish of a wooden ring is a fundamental component, as it will guarantee its protection: Artamin personally produces the natural varnishes that are applied to the rings.
Eco-sustainability is not just an abstract concept: only with facts we help our planet and the environment in which we ourselves live.
Not only the protective impregnating agent for wood, but also the finishing coatings, which are made in-house in the laboratory and are based on natural, non-toxic gums and resins, with no additives whatsoever – for example, shellac, sandracca, dammar – or the encaustic coatings made from pure, all-natural waxes.
You can read more here: natural wood coatings.
Choosing a wooden ring on this site also means being able to make it truly unique, which is why Artamin has decided to make every single ring on commission and according to specific requests.
This is just one of the differences between a handcrafted production and an industrial mass production, which will never be able to offer, on a large scale, customized wooden rings.
The possibility of customizing a ring is total: indicate how you’d like it and I’ll make your custom wooden ring.
You can choose the type of essence, the overall width, combine different essences, but also metal wire inserts, resin inserts and stone settings: you will be sure to have a truly unique ring!

Wooden wedding rings made to order and according to the wishes of the bride and groom: today more and more people choose wood as the material for their because it is authentic, unique and “alive”.
The material with which you choose the wedding ring does not represent a symbol of preciousness, what makes it really precious is the importance and meaning that we ourselves attach to the ring, as a symbol of the union of two people and their love.
I make wooden wedding bands at the specific request of the bride and groom.

Wood is a beautiful material with unique characteristics, which are very different from the classic metal with which rings are normally made.
It is not as strong as metal: this implies that its resistance will be proportional to the care we take of it when we wear the ring.
Since the ring is made from solid wood, it has no problem when wet or submerged in water.
However, it is possible to adopt different solutions to ensure that the ring has adequate strength: for example, the wood can be strengthened by a consolidating treatment in a vacuum chamber.
You can read this in-depth page to find out more: the strength of a wooden ring.
If your priority is really the resistance, you can evaluate the resin rings, which can also be mixed wood.
